Highlights of Our Projects

Visions is our Braille and Music Program for Blind and Visually Impaired High School students in Nepal. This enrichment brings joy, acceptance, and confidence to a community of students who were born without sight, or lost their vision to preventable conditions such as Vitamin A deficiency. 

 Vibrations is our Dance and Sign Language Program for at-risk girls who have come from remote areas of Nepal to study. The program fosters connection among students and preserves traditional culture during a time when many arts and practices are being forgotten.  

Before anything else, basic needs have to be met. That's why we run several programs for continued nutritional support to children in several communities in Zambia, Haiti, and Nepal.

In emergency situations we know we have to act fast. But here at SRF, we know long term relief is also needed to help rebuild after natural disasters. Our philosophy is to support  ongoing need, such as medical treatment for those injured or disabled in earthquakes.
